Online
Join Sussex County Genealogical Society (SCGS) for a presentation by Mags Gaulden, a genetic genealogist based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Gaulden has dedicated decades to researching family histories and exploring the role of genetics in genealogy. Born and raised in the United States, Mags developed an early interest in family history and genealogy. She also is a leader at WikiTree, a collaborative, collaborative, global family tree, collaborative genealogy website. She co-leads the DNA Integrators Team to further the DNA features of WikiTree. As a sought-after international speaker and workshop coordinator, Gaulden has continued to share her expertise on a range of topics related to genetic genealogy and family history research.
SCGS is a non-profit organization and its mission is to promote genealogy and educational work in a professional manner, encourage and instruct its members in genealogical research through careful documentation and maintain quality genealogical standards.
