Sussex County Genealogical Society | How Artificial Intelligence (AI) Can Help You With Your Genealogy

Join Sussex County Genealogical Society (SCGS) for a presentation by SCGS member Jon Smith, who will discuss and demonstrate some of the ways to begin and use AI for the research of DNA questions in our family.
Jon Smith received his Master's degree in Computer Science from Florida State University with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. He serves on the Board of four different genealogical societies: Secretary and Education Chair for the North Carolina Genealogical Society, Education Chair for the Howard County (Maryland) Genealogical Society, Education Chair for the Sussex County (Delaware) Genealogical Society, and Genealogist for the North Carolina Cline Family Association. Jon continues to serve as an Instructor of Genealogy for Howard Community College and lectures regularly to North Carolina local societies. He is a frequent contributor to North Carolina genealogical blogs and Facebook groups. His focus areas for genealogical research include endogamy, artificial intelligence, and analytical tools.
SCGS is a non-profit organization and its mission is to promote genealogy and educational work in a professional manner, encourage and instruct its members in genealogical research through careful documentation and maintain quality genealogical standards.
