Join Sussex County Genealogical Society (SCGS) in-person at the library or online for a presentation by professional genealogist Pamela Guye Holland. Passenger lists don’t always exist for early Irish immigrants to the U.S. and Canada. Surviving or existing lists may not provide enough details about passengers to reliably identify them. However, looking at broader migration routes out of Ireland and their destinations can provide historical context and shed light on immigrant origins.

Pamela Guye Holland is located in Swampscott, Massachusetts and her research specialties are Irish and Genetic Genealogy. She also has expertise in New England, New York (both city and state), and German research. Holland has been conducting genealogical research since 2001 and works with private clients, as a Research Services genealogist at the New England Historic Genealogical Society, and as a
Green Room genealogist for Your Irish Heritage. She lectures both virtually and in-person in the Greater Boston area.

SCGS is a non-profit organization and its mission is to promote genealogy and educational work in a professional manner, encourage and instruct its members in genealogical research through careful documentation and maintain quality genealogical standards.
