Stuff You Want to Know | Seasteading

Stuff You Want to Know | Seasteading

ROOTS Youth Development Program will teach teens what Seasteading is by playing an interactive game. Teens will be given a specific amount of items that they have available on boats and use those items to determine how to be most successful in their Seasteading adventure.

Seasteading is like homesteading but instead of living on land individuals live on a boat. These boats become their self-sustaining home. Things to consider when Seasteading (this will be an interactive time to think about what someone would need to consider when living on a boat and how they might solve problems that arise). Growing your own food, providing your own energy, hunting and gathering (from the ocean), and when you would need to go back to the dock.

This is a teen program.

Registration is required.
