Stuff You Want to Know | Baby Chicks

Stuff You Want to Know | Baby Chicks

R.O.O.T.S. Youth Development Program will teach teens about baby chicks! Baby chicks will be brought to class so students can have the opportunity to interact with the chicks. Teens will have the opportunity to hold, pet, and see different breeds of baby chicks. Students will also have the opportunity to see the brooding box that the chicks will live in for the first few weeks after hatching.

Teens will learn about animal husbandry and how it is related to raising baby chicks, what chicks provide for us, how to properly care for them, and get to enjoy feeding them fruits and veggies! SO CUTE!

This program is for teens.
