Stuff You Want to Know | Container Tea Garden

R.O.O.T.S. Youth Development Program will teach teens how to make a container tea garden! Teens will learn about edible herbs plant, what herbs are best suited for teas, how to dry herbs to make tea leaves, when to harvest them, blending herbs to create tea flavors, and more! 

Each teen will plan out their tea garden on paper. They will plant their own seeds to take home and keep their own herbal tea container garden with 3-4 different types of herbs. These small gardens can stay outside in the warm months and come inside during the colder months. Students may enjoy their own unique herbal tea garden year-round. 

This program is for teens.
