Sussex County Genealogical Society | Using the Goldie May Tool for Your Research
Join Sussex County Genealogical Society (SCGS) in-person at the library or online for a presentation by Richard Miller on Goldie May, a family history research app. Think of it as software power tools for genealogists - features include an automatic research log, abstracts and citations, task lists, locality research, timeline analysis with the Subway Map, and cloud access to all your research. Keep your research in FamilySearch or your Ancestry tree and see if Goldie May can help. Goldie May isn't another place for storing your conclusions; it's a place for your work in progress.
Richard Miller is the software developer who worked at three genealogy companies. He built Goldie May to be the tool he wanted for his own genealogy research.
NOTE: this session is available to attend in-person or through Zoom. You MUST REGISTER and indicate which you prefer.
If you have need assistance with registration or getting your Zoom invitation, please email SCGS. Basic written instructions for using Zoom may be found here and a brief video tutorial may be found here.
SCGS is a non-profit organization and its mission is to promote genealogy and educational work in a professional manner, encourage and instruct its members in genealogical research through careful documentation and maintain quality genealogical standards. For more information, visit the SCGS website. This program is co-sponsored by the Lewes Public Library.
