Spotlights: Puss in Boots
The Spotlights Series are weekly performances by a variety performing artists including storytellers, musicians, and theater groups held throughout the summer. These shows are family-friendly and are perfect for children ages three and up. Spotlights is provided in parts by several organizations: The Friends of the Rehoboth Beach Public Library, Delaware Division of the Arts and the Delaware Division of Libraries.
This week's show features the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre's presentation of Puss in Boots. When a poor young man falls in love with a beatiful princess, his enchanted cat transforms herself into Puss in Boots! The clever, fashion-forward feline finds the princess' missing crown, rids the land of a grumpy ogre and wins the hand of the lady for the surprised lad. Two actors play all the charactres in this energetic, hilarious production.
