STEM Time with The Great STEMporium with The Lewes Public Library (Kids 5 - 9)
For Kids, ages 5 - 9. **REGISTRATION REQUIRED** Pick up a STEM kit from Lewes Public Library and then join us on Zoom for a virtual session where we'll work on the project together. All necessary materials will be provided. This month's program is:
Tootsie Bridge
First, let us say – Don’t Eat the Experiments! In this challenge, you’ll use your skills to create a bridge between 2 tables or 2 chairs. Once your magnificent bridge is in place, you’ll begin placing tootsie rolls on the structure to see how much weight it can handle. Be advised, the materials are, how shall we say, not the strongest…on their own. Did we mention – Don’t Eat the Experiment!
This event will take place on Zoom. Basic written instructions for using Zoom are available courtesy of the Lewes Public Library. A brief video tutorial on how to join a meeting can be found on the Zoom Support website.
Registrants will be contacted with information regarding kit pick up prior to the program.
