Homeschool Connection: Going Batty with the Iron Hill Museum & Science Center

How to bats live, eat, sleep, fly at night, or talk? Learn about how bats do AMAZING things for nature, and how many bat types there are in the world compared to just Delaware. Find out what White Nose Syndrome is, and how we can help bats survive. 

​Going Batty program meets the following DE Essential Standards: Science: K-ESS2-2, K-ESS3-1, K-LS1-1, 2-LS2-2, 2-LS4-1, 3LS1-1, 3-LS2-1, 4-LS1-1

Homeschool Connection is our monthly program for K - 5th grade homeschool students. We host a variety of presenters on different topics, and include a library skills extension for each class. Check in the kids' room for the schedule of presenters.
