Tools for Tots: BIG Feelings and Emotional Regulation

Tools for Tots: BIG Feelings and Emotional Regulation

Join us at the Lewes Public Library immediately after Children’s Story Time, for family-child workshops to explore and promote healthy development. While caregivers enjoy a brief presentation by a member of Child Inspired’s therapy team and are encouraged to voice concerns or share experiences, children are invited to participate in a hands-on, developmentally-appropriate activity conducted by one of Child Inspired’s child educators.

This program is made possible in part by a generous donation from Beacon Pediatrics.

This Month: BIG Feelings and Emotional Regulation

We know that young children can frequently experience intense emotions, for most, beginning as early as their first birthday. Teaching kids to identify and label their emotions are equally as vital as academic learning for children. And there are differences between meltdowns and tantrums! In this workshop, we will learn how to help your child identify their emotions and provide strategies to reduce the intensity and duration of tantrums and meltdowns...BIG game changers that will promote positive and compassionate interactions with your child.
