Tools for Tots: More ZZZ’s Please!! Healthy Sleep Routines for Your Tot

Join us at the Lewes Public Library immediately after Children’s Story Time, for family-child workshops to explore and promote healthy development. While caregivers enjoy a brief presentation by a member of Child Inspired’s therapy team and are encouraged to voice concerns or share experiences, children are invited to participate in a hands-on, developmentally-appropriate activity conducted by one of Child Inspired’s child educators.

This program is made possible in part by a generous donation from Beacon Pediatrics.

This Month: More ZZZ’s Please!! Healthy Sleep Routines for Your Tot

Snooze time isn't just for beauty sleep; it's the secret sauce for your kiddo's brain and body growth spurt! Picture this: a sleepy tot stumbling around like a grumpy bear, bumping into things and unable to focus. Yikes! While sleep needs differ from tiny human to tiny human, most little ones thrive on 10 to 13 hours of shut-eye a day. No magic spell guarantees a smooth bedtime routine, but developing good sleep habits early on is key to success! This month’s workshop will focus on sleep needs by developmental age/stage and strategies for children who have difficulty going to sleep and staying asleep through the night.
