Join Sussex County Genealogical Society (SCGS) in-person at the library or online for for the presentation, "Tap Into Your Inner Private Eye: 9 Strategies for Finding your Living Relatives" by Lisa Louise Cooke. Learn the techniques that Private Investigators use to track down missing people. These strategies will help you find those elusive living relatives who just may hold the key to your brick wall or possess that treasured photo you’ve been looking for.
Lisa Louise Cooke is the author of several books including The Genealogist’s Google Toolbox, 3rd edition. She is the owner of Genealogy Gems, a genealogy and family history multi-media company founded in 2007, where she produces and hosts the popular Genealogy Gems Podcast, and the free weekly YouTube show Elevenses with Lisa at the Genealogy Gems YouTube channel. She also writes a regular column for Family Tree Magazine and produces the Family Tree Magazine Podcast.
SCGS is a non-profit organization and its mission is to promote genealogy and educational work in a professional manner, encourage and instruct its members in genealogical research through careful documentation and maintain quality genealogical standards.
