DESCRIPTION:There is much in this world over which we have very little 
 control\, but we have complete control over how we treat our property. Our 
 obsession with large\, green lawns is harming the health of watersheds\, 
 soil\, insects\, birds\, and us. Reimagining our home landscape so that 
 native plants cover more space than turf grass is a powerful place to begin 
 making a difference for our health and that of the planet’s.\n\nThis 
 event is underwritten by a grant from the Delaware Humanities.\n
