Life in the Past Lane presented by Mike Dixon
With the arrival of modern, high-speed highways, many of Delaware’s scenic routes and the small hamlets and villages clustered around these old corridors are overlooked. This program explores the character, ambiance, and history of those lesser-traveled roads. These historic roadways are more than just lines on a map, so come along for an enjoyable journey in the past lane as we get off the highway and hear intriguing stories about waterfront towns, agricultural communities, and country hamlets and villages. Discovery awaits you on Delaware’s scenic routes, so let’s find your road.
This program has been made possible by Delaware Humanities, a state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Walk-Ins are welcome.
