Craft Club | Making Collages
Join us in the library for a craft workshop on making collages offered by local artist Rita Healey. Participants will lightly paint the surface of a canvas with acrylics, then sand the paint to tone down the newness. After picking a theme for the collage, Rita will teach transfer techniques like using crystal clear, blender marker, heat tool or iron, and polymer clay.
No experience is necessary. Class size is limited to 8 people.
NOTE: this class often has a wait list. If you sign up and are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration immediately. If you are placed on the wait list, please check your email frequently for a notice on whether you have moved into the class.
If you do not cancel your registration and do not show up for the class, the library has the option to decline your registration for future workshops.
