Curtain Up: An Introduction to Broadway’s Golden Years

Curtain Up: An Introduction to Broadway’s Golden Years

The Broadway musical is America’s legendary contribution to the world of performing arts. This class examines a musical’s component parts and how a successful Golden Age musical was constructed. Using video clips, we will follow the life of a musical from a writer’s pen and composer’s piano to the Broadway stage.
