Intro to VEX Robotics
Lewes Public Library is now offering VEX Robotics! We would like to invite you to a presentation about VEX and how you can join in on the fun. There is very limited space for this program; participants at this presentation will get the first chance to apply for the VEX program.
VEX Robotics is a robotics program for elementary through university students and a subset of Innovation First International. The VEX Robotics competitions and programs are managed by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation.
Students build, code, and manipulate their own technological designs to apply innovative ideas that improve existing processes. Robots are tangible examples of how technology is used to meet the needs of its users and the needs of society. Educational robotics allows students to practice the engineering design process.
Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving among groups.
There are only 4 spots available! You must be a student in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to qualify for participation.
