Shapeshifters in mythology transform themselves as the need arises: What “containers” do your emotions and imagination desire? In this class we’ll experiment with myriad ways to shape a poem. Maybe you've written in traditional forms, concrete poems or even tried an erasure poem. Can a photograph become a poem? A dream image? Or a page from a history book, an ancestor’s letter, a beloved object? Playful experiments will spark your creativity as we head into April & National Poetry Month!
