Romeo and Juliet: Prologue and Epilogue with Nancy Krebs

In-person

The Classic Theatre of Maryland is offering workshops as a follow up to their 2:00 PM performance of Romeo and Juliet.

Classic Theatre of Maryland’s Resident Vocal Coach and Actress-in-Residence, one of a handful Master Lessac Teachers in the world, Nancy Krebs (SAG-AFTRA), takes participants through Romeo and Juliet’s Prologue and Epilogue, with particular attention to voice and character.

The mission of the Classic Theatre of Maryland is to produce bold, re-imagined, entertaining and accessible interpretations of classical works, contemporary plays, and musicals with a core commitment to the works of Shakespeare and other major dramatists. CTM is committed to promoting the highest level of artistic excellence, to cultivating the widest possible audience, and to contributing to the economic and cultural growth of our community, state, and region.

The Lewes Spoken Word Society (LSWS) and Shakespeare Festival celebrates the tradition and artistry of oral storytelling through lectures, performances, discussions, demonstrations, and other publicly-shared experiences. The LSWS is partially funded by a grant from the Delaware Humanities, a state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.

NOTE: this workhop is at the Cape Henlopen High School (1250 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE). Space in the workshop is limited and registration is required.
