Meet Nile, a Humpback Whale
Meet Nile, a Humpback whale, at this larger than life presentation. A whale expert will bring her life-sized inflatable humpback whale, which participants will actually be able to go inside! Participants will learn about how whales and humans are similar and different, and have a chance to touch baleen, teeth, and bones. The suggested age range is children entering 1st through 6th grade. This is not a program for children under 5.
Registration is required for everyone in attendance. After you register for this program, you will receive a phone call from the library so you can sign up for one of four 30-minute time slots between 5:30 and 7:30pm on Thursday, June 30th. This program will be held at the Greenwood Fire Department in the engine bay. Nile is so big that he will not fit in our library!
