Get in the holiday spirit with this illustrated lecture presented by Wayne Schaumburg! Learn about Baltimore's great holiday traditions from the 1940s through the 1960s. He will discuss shopping at the "big four" department stores, five-and-dime stores galore, the famous Laughing Santa, Paul's Puppets, the Toytown parade, aluminum and ceramic trees, firehouse train gardens, and many other local traditions. The first 20 participants will be guaranteed a seat in the audience if they wish and will be called to confirm. Subsequent registrants will be able to watch the program via Zoom. Registration opens Nov. 1 @ 10 am.
