Phonics Fun with Newark Free Library

Join Newark Free Library staff for Phonics Fun; a story time based on phonics.  Each week we will focus on one letter sound, although all letter sounds will be reviewed every week.  We will use finger plays, songs, and stories to acquaint children with the sounds.  This program is geared towards preschool aged children preparing to enter Kindergarten the following year.  There will be lots of visuals, so children and parents who are learning English are encouraged to attend.  Activity packets provided.

This program will be conducted using Zoom. Registration is required with an email address.  Participants will receive instructions for joining the Zoom meeting with the registration confirmation email (and also in a reminder email ONE HOUR before the event).
