Hidden in Plain Sight: An Indigenous History of the Chesapeake

Join Dr. Carayon from Salisbury University for a talk on the indigenous history of the Chesapeake. Dr. Carayon will focus on the opportunities and hardships faced by Eastern Shore native Indian communities, both past and present. She will also situate those experiences within the larger narrative of colonial and early American history. The first 20 participants will be guaranteed a seat in the audience if they wish and will be called to confirm. Subsequent registrants will be able to watch the program via Zoom. Registration opens Oct. 1 @ 10 am.
