Beyond Basics: Designing Layered Mandalas in Silhouette Studio with Route 9 Library

This class will be held IN-PERSON in our Maker Lab on Wed. 9/29 from 6:00-7:45pm. It is Part 2 of the virtual class that was held on Wed. 9/15. We still have a few slots available for participants who did not attend that class who may register for this class and catch up by watching the video for Part 1 when it becomes available. The link will be posted here once it is ready. Some experience with Silhouette is helpful but not required. All materials will be provided. Descriptions of each session are listed below.

9/15, Part 1: Zoom class: participants learned how to design impressive layered mandalas in Silhouette Studio using the Trace, Offset and Modify Tools. After the mandala was created, it was used it to make a shaped card blank. Lastly, it was embellished with metallic foil using the Foil Quill Tool.

9/29, Part 2: In person class in the Maker Lab: you will make a greeting card with the layered 3D design from part 1 of this class. Linda will also provide a demo of foil quilling that you can use to embellish your card.
