Rainbow Story Time with author Katherine Locke

Join us for a special edition of Rainbow Story Time featuring author Katherine Locke! Katherine will share their newest book What Are Your Words? As always, we'll also have time to sing, dance, and talk together! This program is recommended for kids ages 4-8 and their families. 

The program will be presented in spoken English. To request accommodations, please contact catherine.wimberley@newcastlede.gov.

The program will be held on Zoom, and registration is required. You can just register once for the whole family. Zoom login information will be sent out 1 hour before the program start time. If you have any questions or problems connecting, please email woodlawn.library@lib.de.us.


More about our special guest: Katherine Locke lives and writes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with their feline overlords and their addiction to chai lattes. They are the author of Bedtime for Superheroes and What are Your Words?. They are also the author of the YA book The Girl with the Red Balloon, a 2018 Sydney Taylor Honor Book and 2018 Carolyn W. Field Honor Book, as well as The Spy with the Red Balloon. They are the co-editor and contributor to It's A Whole Spiel: Love, Latkes and Other Jewish Stories, and a contributor to Unbroken: 13 Stories Starring Disabled Teens and Out Now: Queer We Go Again.
