The Sussex Bird Club | Birding in Maryland

The Sussex Bird Club | Birding in Maryland

Online
Online & In-Person

As part of the local birding community, we are quite familiar with the hot spots of Sussex and Kent Counties. We can go to Prime Hook, Indian River inlet, DuPont Nature Center or Bombay Hook to see some amazing birds. But what about the great birding spots just over the border in Maryland? Wouldn’t it be nice to learn about some new locations to birdwatch?

Matt Hafner, a member of the Maryland Ornithological Society and a Field Trip Leader for the Harford Bird Club, will share his knowledge on some of the best bird refuges in close proximity to Delaware.

Join us for this monthly meeting of The Sussex Bird Club. The Sussex Bird Club's primary objective is to promote the knowledge and enjoyment of wild birds through guided field trips and monthly meetings about various aspects of birding. Meetings are open to all and beginning birders are always welcome.
