Ages 18 and up.  Join us during Banned Books Week as we discuss books that have been challenged/banned across the U.S.  This discussion will focus on The Wave by Todd Strasser, which is a fictionalized account of the 1969 "Third Wave" classroom experiment in a California high school that "went too far."  Limited space; preregistration is required.

KCPL will have limited copies of the book available for preregistered participants to read before the discussion; first come, first served.

Effective Thursday, August 19, 2021, all visitors to Kent County Public Library must wear a face covering while in the building. This also applies to patrons boarding our mobile library. (No neck gaiters or plastic face shields.)  Children age 2 and under are exempt, per State of Delaware guidelines.

This change is part of a phased response by the Kent County Levy Court to help mitigate the resurgence of COVID-19 in our community.
