Julien Benichou and the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra

Julien Benichou and the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra

In-person

Join us as Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra Music Director Julien Benichou previews the Orchestra’s 2021 - 2022 season, the first time in the Orchestra’s 24-year history that it will perform all five regular season concerts in the Cape Region. Following remarks by Maestro Benichou, several of the Orchestra’s musicians will perform, closing out with a question-and-answer session.

Julien Benichou, the Orchestra’s music director since 2005, studied in France before coming to the United States. He received a graduate performance diploma from The Peabody Institute, earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University, and pursued graduate studies at Yale University. He also serves as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Washington Opera Society, and has conducted at the New York City Ballet and at Carnegie Hall.

Now in its 24th season, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony is the only professional orchestra serving southern Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Its mission is to inspire, enrich, educate and entertain diverse audiences of all ages through live musical performances, and to engage students in the world of art music through outreach programs.

This event is free but seating is limited and registration required.
