Join us for an online conversation with Steve Cottrell, President of the Delaware Audubon Society, and Ashley Kennedy, member of the Delaware Audubon Society Board of Directors, for discussion on the recently updated National Audubon Society field guides to the birds of North America and the trees of North America. These guides are the result of a collaboration among leading scientists, scholars, taxonomic and field experts, photo editors, and designers, and are a must-have reference for the library of any bird or nature lover.

The National Audubon Society Birds of North America covers more than 800 species, with over 3,500 full-color photographs of birds in their natural habitat, often with four or five images of each species. This guide also includes an important new category on conservation status and essays by leading scholars in each field who provide holistic insights into the world of birds. National Audubon Society Trees of North America covers more than 540 species, with nearly 2,500 full-color photographs--including images of the bark, fruit, and flowers, as well as photos that illustrate leaf shape and seasonal color changes. The guide includes an important new category on conservation status and essays by leading scholars who provide holistic insights into the world of trees.

Incorporated in 1905, the National Audubon Society is a nonprofit conservation organization that uses education and advocacy to advance its mission to conserve and restore natural habitats of birds and wildlife in the United States and across the Americas. Audubon also produces bestselling descriptive field guides on a wide variety of nature-related topics.

We invite you to support the National Audobon Society by purchasing a copy of their books from Browseabout Books (National Audubon Society Birds of North America and National Audubon Society Trees of North America). Call-in orders are accepted at (302) 226-2665 or you can stop by the store to purchase a copy. For store hours, please visit their website.
