I Went Vegan….Does This Mean I Can Never Dine Out?

Does going vegan or plant based mean you can’t eat out anymore? Certainly NOT! You know the scenario….your friends are in town, or you are just celebrating a holiday, or you just don’t feel like cooking, or you haven’t gone grocery shopping, or you are traveling. What are you to eat??? In this session, you will learn strategies, tips, and tricks for dining out and staying true to your plant-based diet and lifestyle from someone who has lived this way for decades.
Michele A Williams, PhD, MBA, RPh, is a Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine’s Food For Life Certified instructor, and holds a Plant Based Nutrition certification from Cornell University. She is past vice president and past president of the Sussex Cyclists. She is an active real estate investor and developer in Delaware and Maryland, and her vision is to facilitate individuals be their own best health advocate. Her current focus is affordable housing and healthy community development, with a focus on Tiny Houses.
