Bouncing Back: Mindfulness for Stress Reduction & Resilience
OnlineOur collective experience in the past 12 months has been characterized by trauma: a worldwide pandemic, political and social unrest, images of violence, interpersonal conflict, and the activation of critical defense mechanisms. As we seek to re-engage with our community, we wrestle with the practical, day-to-day effects of the circumstances in our world. How do we navigate these changes without sacrificing connection? How do we care for ourselves and one another? How do we effectively engage others from a place of healing? This workshop, presented by Emily Evans, LPCMH, NCC, will seek to answer these questions with practical tools to help you tune in, create safety, and orient to the world around you. We will discuss the overwhelming circumstances we face collectively and individually while learning to implement simple practices that will allow us to bounce back from adversity together.
