Homeschool Connection - Kazoos and Cannonballs with the Lewes Historical Society
**PLEASE NOTE** This month's program is at 2:00pm instead of 1:00pm.
Join us for a musical lesson that will include a discussion of the War of 1812, the bombardment of Lewes, and the Star Spangled Banner, led by our friends at the Lewes Historical Society.
This program will take place outdoors. We will begin the program at the Lewes Historical Society Campus, which is about a mile from the library, at 110 Shipcarpenter Street. You can park on West 3rd Street -- there are plenty of spaces. We will meet Marcos and his volunteer(s) for the beginning of the program there, and then he'll take us on a walking tour from there to the Cannonball House (approx. 4 - 5 blocks) for the remainder of the program. Please bring a small towel or blanket to sit on, that you can carry with you. We will still be social distancing, despite the lifting of masking requirements for outdoors. It looks like a great weather day, and we should have lots of fun.
Homeschool Connection is our monthly program for K - 5th grade homeschool students. We host a variety of presenters on different topics, and include a library skills extension for each class. Check in the kids' room for the schedule of presenters.
