This session is focusing on the the ANATOMY OF A GARMENT so we can all be on the same page as we learn techniques! We will learn how to measure ourselves and choose fabric, interfacing, and buttons.
Jane will create a very simple night shirt as an example. Before the next session, she will be making patterns for each of us, based on our measurements! Once you send in your measurements, you can pick up yours from her at NextFab in Wilmington, DE.
We'll also get a preview of how we will adjust and cut from a pattern. Plus we'll get tips for making our garments look store-bought/professional.
Beginners and all experience levels welcome. Bring questions, and have your machine close at hand.
