Tai Chi Ch'uan at the Wilmington Library


Widely known for its benefits to health, wellness and stress reduction,Tai Chi began as a martial art focused on cultivating energy with natural movement.

This class will present a basic short form, breathing exercises and meditations, and applications for self defense. All ages are welcome.


About the presenter: Grandmaster Malik Cadwell (of Rutgers University and Temple University) has studied the Martial Arts for over 40 years and was a US coach at World Karate Championships in Tokyo.He became one of the youngest Grandmasters in the US after being named successor to the first American to earn a Black Belt in Aikido directly from the Founder.
