Fancy a DINNER with JAZZ and COCKTAILS?   Let us provide the jazz.  The DANIEL BENNETT GROUP has recorded a concert just for us, thanks to sponsorship from the Friends of the Newark Free Library.  The concert will be available on our NFL FACEBOOK PAGE on Friday, December 11, at 6:30 p.m.  New York saxophonist Daniel Bennett is joined by master percussionist Koko Bermejo on drums.  The Boston Globe reports, “Daniel Bennett’s signature sound merges jazz and folk traditions, as his lyrical alto saxophone and flute wind through an organic soundscape.”  Bennett also plays clarinet and oboe.  The Daniel Bennett Group was voted “Best New Jazz Group” by Hot House Magazine.
