STEM Time with The Great STEMporium (Kids 5 - 9): Starry Night Patterns

For Kids, ages 5 - 9. **REGISTRATION REQUIRED** Pick up a STEM kit from Lewes Public Library and then join us on Zoom for a virtual session where we'll work on the project together.  All necessary materials will be provided. This month's program is: Starry Night Patterns

In the wintertime, when the nights are long and the sky is clear, we can see amazing star patterns. In this STEM exploration, we’ll discover how a star is born, see how sailors use the stars to navigate, take a look inside of a real rocket ship, and we’ll hear a special story about Orion and Scorpio before we make our own constellations with marshmallows and toothpicks.

This event will take place on Zoom. Basic written instructions for using Zoom are available courtesy of the Lewes Public Library. A brief video tutorial on how to join a meeting can be found on the Zoom Support website.

Registrants will be contacted with information regarding kit pick up prior to the program.
