This series will assist you in managing and protecting your finances. Each session will cover a different topic and will provide handouts or resources you can use to improve your financial well being. It would be appropriate for persons with a disability and their caregivers to attend together.

Delaware ABLE Plan - Security for the Future: The State of Delaware offers a low cost 529(a) savings plan – DEPENDABLE – that allows individuals with disabilities and their families to save for a broad range of expenses on a tax-advantaged basis without jeopardizing their benefits from supplemental security income (SSI), Medicaid and other federal programs. It is also a long-term tool for financial planning for a segment of persons with disabilities (those who acquire their disability prior to age 26).
