Conversation with YA Author L.M. Elliott | Storm Dog

Online

Be a part of a live, interactive conversation with L.M Elliott about her brand new YA book Storm Dog.

Ariel is used to living in her sister's shadow, but when Gloria is selected to be an Apple Bottom Parade Princess, Ariel feels more like an outsider than ever. During a raging storm, she meets a lost dog and an outcast former Army K-9 Handler - and together they pledge to show the town that everyone, including outsiders, deserves to be celebrated.

  • Faith, family, and pride combined with strong military connections make this a unique and unusual look at the American South.
  • Ariel and her friends discover the power of music to uplift, heal, and celebrate life.- and it also inspires some dancing dogs!
  • Storm Dog features ab affirming message - although family dynamics destroy Ariel's self-esteem, she learns to value herself for her unique talents and spirit.

L.M. Elliott is an award-winning author of historical novels, including Hamilton and Peggy!: A Revolutionary Friendship, Da Vinci's Tiger, Give Me Liberty, and Flying South, and her World War II works, Under the War-torn Sky and its sequel, A Troubled Peace.
