Watercolor Workshops with Newark Free Library

Watercolor Workshops with Newark Free Library

Online

This basic workshop will teach you to use watercolor on pre-stamped images that have been mailed to you.  You will learn to mix watercolors to create new shades and colors to make something beautiful that can be used as a gift tag, made into a card, or included in a letter.  For adults and teens ages 14 and up.  Participants must have their own paints and brushes.  Watercolor motifs change with each session.  There are four workshops on these dates (you must register separately for each one).  Registration is closed one week before the event.
     *September 22     *October 20     *November 17     *December 15

This program will be conducted via Zoom.  Registration is required with an email address AND a mailing address (street, city, state, zip).  Participants will receive special watercolor paper with stamped images via US Mail.  If two people in the same family want to participate, each person needs to sign up separately.  Participants will receive instructions for joining the Zoom meeting with the registration confirmation email (and also in a reminder email THREE HOURS before the event).

Separate registration is required for each date.   Click on "show more dates" below to view all meetings.  Click on each date to register for that workshop.
