Picturing America: Mixing Art Appreciation with American History (Online)

Online

The Greenwood Public Library presents a new online series for homeschooling students entitled "Picturing America: Learning from Home Support." Lesson plans for this group of classes were compiled by the National Endowment for the Humanities and are designed to enable students to learn about our nation's history through the rich artwork of our great country.

In this class, we will be learning about some of the pottery and baskets of American Indians from the past 1000 years.  Activity packets for elementary, middle school and high schoolers will be available at the Library's front door. Save the cost of visiting a museum. Let the Greenwood Library become your school library!
