Spoken Word/Storytelling Presented by Cross Roads
OnlineCross Roads presents well-crafted folktales from around the world with lessons for cultural understanding and respect for all. With rich imagery, realistic sound effects, and exquisite mime illusions, this high energy and culturally diverse presentation no only entertains but also educates kids of all ages.
The program can feature works from different parts of the world or focus on a particular part of the world that is of particular interest to a group or community.Cross Roads addresses matters of communication, self-esteem, conflict resolution, and respect.
Antonio Rocha (pronounced haw-sha) is an award winning storyteller who is originally from Brazil. For the past thirty-five years, Antonio’s unique fusion of spoken word and mime, combined with high energy, a tenor voice, and realistic sound effects have landed him invitations to thousands of schools, libraries, and storytelling events across the United States and fifteen other countries.
Antonio is also the author of the bilingual (Portuguese/English) picture book, The Party in the Sky.
