Pop Artist & Hands-On Collage Workshop: Modern Pop Art Experience Presented by Michael Albert
OnlineNew York based pop artist and author Michael Albert has brought his Modern Art Experience to over 1,000 libraries, schools, museums, and festivals in 35 states. His unique hands-on collage workshop is great for school age children, teens, adults, and can be done as a multi-generational event.
Michael brings everything needed for his workshop, as long as he has a room with tables and chairs. Not only a pop artist, Michael is the author of An Artist’s America (Henry Holt, 2008), which can be found in a number of Delaware libraries throughout the state.
Michael has been creating art since he was a student at New York University, where he studied business. His art has evolved from doodles, wax oil drawings, to the cubist mosaic cereal box collages he has become known for.
