Virtual Summer Paint Pouring Series

Virtual Summer Paint Pouring Series

Online

Join us on the second Thursday of each month this summer as we explore paint pouring techniques. Perfect for a newcomer to paint pouring while incorporating new techniques for more advanced users of fluid arts, these sessions will show you how to pour paint at home. Learn how to substitute pouring medium for common items, where to purchase the supplies you need, and create a beautiful painting to treasure.

June 11 : Ocean Waves- Learn how to use the “swirl technique” to create a painting that looks like ocean waves.

July 9: Recycling Paint- Learn how to reuse the leftover acrylic paint that has dried, also known as “paint skin.” We’ll demonstrate how to incorporate the paint skin in a new paint pouring project!

August 13: Cosmic Pour- Learn how to create a cosmic look by pouring colorful fluid acrylics over black. Create an out of this world painting!

This series will be hosted online via Facebook Live. Please RSVP to this event and make sure you follow the Delaware City Library Facebook page  at www.facebook.com/DelawareCityLubrary to ensure you are notified when the program goes live. We will be updating this event with a supply list for those who want to try the projects at home.

This is an online event. Event URL will be sent via registration email.
