Mad Science Workshop

Mad Science Workshop

Explore the imaginative world of fantasy and storytelling through a science lens. Unlike the magic in myths and fairy tales, science provides explanations about the exciting and mysterious events around us. In this program, kids will engage in enchanting hands-on experiments and demos, including mixing up slimy magical goo, watching lightning shoot from the end of a wand, witnessing a color-changing rainbow potion, creating fake snow, engineering sound effects and using flip animation to make a mini movie.

This program will be held via Zoom. All registered participants will receive an email one hour before the program begins with the Zoom meeting ID and password.

For assistance in using Zoom, please visit our libguide: guides.lib.de.us/zoominstructions.

For further technical support, please email the Bear Library.

This program will be held one additional time over the summer:
