The Lewes Public Library's Shakespeare Festival is pleased to present Lunchtime Story Readings by Suzanne Savoy, offered every Sunday and Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Registration is required for each session
Bring your lunch—or just a cup of joe—to this half-hour short-story reading by actor Suzanne Savoy with a brief chat following.
Note: these stories are intended for adults due to thematic material and language.
Today's reading is Guy de Maupassant: “The Diamond Necklace” and “Father Matthew”
Suzanne Savoy created and stars in the acclaimed piece Je Christine. She is an educator, designer, and performer living in NYC. A graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada, she is a recurring character on House of Cards, The Knick, For Life, and Better Call Saul. She has performed with the Alley Theatre in Houston and The Shakespeare Project in NYC. Suzanne is a member of Actors’ Equity.
NOTE: this session is conducted through Zoom, an online meeting platform. You may join the meeting via computer or telephone. You MUST REGISTER to attend and you must provide an email address when you register. You will receive instructions for joining the meeting the day before it is scheduled.
