From Concept to Creation: Future Writers' Workshop
March 11 & 25, April 1 & 22, May 8 & 22 -- 6 sessions **PLEASE NOTE APRIL DATE CHANGE**
Ages 14 and up. This program will offer a welcoming and encouraging space for endeavoring writers to draw inspiration, accept feedback and learn simple techniques to turn story ideas into real writing samples of the course of the workshop. Each session will focus on a specific area of the creative writing process from conecpt to creation including writing prompts, peer reviews, group activities, outside writing exercises and more. The sessions will be led by Jill Marie Denton, author of the Second Saga series. Limited space; preregistration is required. (Parent or other responsible adult must be present in the library, including during programs, for any child/youth under the age of 16.)
