Lunch and Learn | The Relevance of Non-Violent Protest Today - TO BE RESCHEDULED

Lunch and Learn | The Relevance of Non-Violent Protest Today - TO BE RESCHEDULED

To protect your health and that of the general public, the library has cancelled or postponed all library sponsored programs through March 31. Given the dynamic nature of the current situation, check our website, calendar and social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) for updates.

We hope to reschedule this program in the near future. Thank you for your understanding.

The focus of this interactive mixed media presentation is a discussion of how the strategies and techniques of non-violent direct action are being used today to create social change. Illustrative examples from the current climate justice movement will be used to guide the conversation.

Presented by Delaware Technical and Community College Continuing Education instructor, Rick Grier-Reynolds. Bring a bag lunch or snack.

This presentation is part of a joint series offered by the library and Delaware Tech, Jack F. Owens Campus.

Registration is requested. Sign up online, by calling the library at 302-645-2733, or stop by the Circulation Desk.
