Cultural Resources in the 21st Century: CANCELLED

To protect your health and that of the general public, the library has cancelled or postponed all library sponsored programs through March 31. Given the dynamic nature of the current situation, check our website, calendar and social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) for updates.

Thank you for your understanding.

Numerous archaeological sites and historic resources are predicted to be subject to adverse environmental impacts within the next decade. This talk highlights some of the interdisciplinary work being conducted to study these threats and projected outcomes at the specific site level, as well as discusses innovative approaches to documenting these resources so that they remain part of our collective heritage.

Heather Wholey is Professor of Anthropology at West Chester University and Chair of the Department of Anthropology and Sociology.  She earned her Master's degree and doctorate in Anthropology from the Catholic University of America, and a dual undergraduate degree in Anthropology and in Geography from Albany State University.
