Around the World International Fair
On Friday, February 21, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Greenwood VFW Hall, there will be an Around the World International Fair. The event will begin at 5pm with a cooking demonstration of international desserts presented by Chef Charles Oppman, who has studied under German, French and English pastry chefs. In addition, countries from around the world will be represented and celebrated by displays, delicacies, discussions and more. If you would like to represent a country, please email greenwood.lib.de.us by February 17. The event is free and open to the whole family. Registration is required only for the cooking demonstration at 5pm. To register, go online to www.greenwood.lib.de.us or email greenwood.library@lib.de.us. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
